This role is responsible for assisting with residential HVAC installations while learning proper installation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations from experienced team members.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Install Technicians with the installation of HVAC equipment and accessories according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Support the installation of HVAC systems, ductwork, gas lines, refrigerant lines, thermostats, and related accessories
- Assist with cutting, fitting, and installing duct systems and piping
- Assist with wiring both high and low voltage HVAC equipment
- Assist with soldering and brazing copper refrigerant lines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site throughout the installation process
- Inspect work areas for cleanliness and ensure customer property is respected and protected
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle and workspace
- Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance and represent Prime Comfort respectfully in customers’ homes and in the community
- Demonstrate a willingness to continue personal and professional growth through training, coaching, and ongoing development
- Transport tools and materials safely to and from job sites while maintaining accountability of assigned tools and equipment
- Participate in company training and continued professional development
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- EPA Certification or actively pursuing certification
- Previous HVAC installation experience preferred, but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, GPS, and digital service software
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule when customer needs require it
- Commitment to continued learning and professional growth

This role is responsible for leading residential HVAC installations while ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and according to company standards.
The Install Lead is also responsible for guiding and mentoring apprentices to help develop the next generation of skilled technicians.

Job Responsibilities
- Install HVAC equipment and accessories in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Install gas lines, flue pipes, refrigerant lines, and high/low voltage wiring applications
- Design, fabricate, and install ductwork and duct fittings as needed
- Braze copper refrigerant lines and fittings properly without leaks
- Pull proper vacuums on refrigerant systems and perform leak and tightness testing
- Perform system startups and verify proper system operation
- Install and program thermostats and IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) products
- Perform limited diagnostics and troubleshoot installation-related issues when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site throughout the installation process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle and workspace
- Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance and represent Prime Comfort respectfully in customers’ homes and in the community
- Demonstrate a willingness to continue personal and professional growth through training, coaching, and ongoing development
- Transport tools and materials safely to and from job sites while maintaining accountability of assigned tools and equipment
- Train, coach, and mentor apprentices while promoting safe and quality workmanship
- Participate in company training and continued professional development

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- EPA Certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable HVAC installation experience preferred
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC installation practices and equipment
- Ability to install, start up, and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems properly
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead and work effectively within a team environment
- Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, GPS, and digital service software
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule when customer needs require it
